Ben welcomed us with warmth and a perfect room with a river running right outside our window. The Hotel is beautifully decorated and made me feel quite comfortable in any space in the open areas. In the pub downstairs, Blake pulled the most perfect pints of Guinness-even better than those we had at the end of the Guinness factory tour. We truly enjoyed our conversations with Matt and the other locals at the pub. They made us feel like old friends. Their laughter was a joyful sound that I will always remember. The full Irish breakfast (2 sausage, 2 thick slices of bacon, white pudding, black pudding, grilled tomatoes, toast, juices, coffee/ tea and the most divine egg I’ve ever had) prepared by Michael and his staff was exemplary and kept me full all day. I would highly recommend Flynn’s of Termonfeckin Boutique Hotel if you want a truly Irish experience. The beach is about a half mile away and there are golf courses nearby. A great stepping off point for Newgrange and Hill of Tara as well as other sites.

Had a great say here, it’s a beautiful spot and the staff were super helpful. The lady who looked after us was happy to help print off some information we needed; she was very accommodating when we asked for an additional person to be added to our booking at a very very late stage. Lovely clean rooms with fresh water for drinking, plenty of space and super comfortable beds. Good breakfast and a very friendly chef who served us. Private and secure car park if that’s an interest. All in all, a good stay and I’d love to go back and stay longer and sample the restaurant and evening menu.

We were looking for a location within easy driving distance of Newgrange after coming down from Northern Ireland, and found Flynn's of Terminfeckin. The price was excellent, It is a bit off the highway, but only about 10-15 minutes. The hotel caters to golfers and it was off season so we had the place mostly to ourselves and a handful of other customers, so it was enjoyably quiet. Breakfast was very good, hot and cold foods, and hot foods cooked to order. The staff was young, and there weren't a lot of them, but they were helpful and pleasant.

Debra

The hotel was so cute and well done. The walls are a little thin, but that is typical. We did hear people coming and going but nothing we couldn’t live with. The bar was well done and it seemed like a hangout for some of the locals. The reception went above and beyond to make sure we were able to get to and from the hotel to a local bar in Drogheda. She politely answered all of our American questions such as, “do we tip our bartender” she laughed and told us not to.

The hotel is very nicely decorated in all areas except for the bedrooms. It has a nice bar, private seating area and breakfast room. Breakfast was very nice with good options. Secure car parking inside a secure gated area. It is a quiet village with a river running alongside. The rooms are small but comfortable and we had a good shower in the bathroom. Nice for one night stay.
